Our Team.

Mid-LAND Contracting Ltd employs Mower Operators, a Mechanic, Gardeners, Sprayers, Landscapers and Tree Surgeons.

Our staff constantly attend rigorous training courses to keep them up to date with all the latest requirements. They all have qualifications required for their positions. Some of our staff are also experienced in landscaping, paving, retaining wall construction, playground matting installation and general light and heavy building.

Managing Director

Over-seeing the management of gardens/parks maintenance and landscaping. Contractors Representative & Contracts Manager.

With more than 25 years in Horticulture and open space management Allan has been a “hands on” manager leading the company since it began in 1994 and continues to have a pivotal role in the day to day running of operations.

Kats Oliver
Office Manager

Kats ensures all aspects of the office are well balanced, she wears many hats, and you can be assured when you speak to Kats that she will give her total attention, ensuring you receive quality information and solutions.

Timaru Botanic Gardens Manager

Tracey has been working as Gardening Manager at the Timaru Botanic Gardens for over 5 years, with the Botanic Gardens achieving a 5 star rating in 2023.

Tracey is studying for her certificate in Horticulture Level 4 building on her current vast knowledge of plant requirements.

Kelly White
Gardening Manager

Kelly manages Mid-LAND Contracting Ltd private and commercial gardening clients. Kelly is currently studying for her certificate in Horticulture Level 4 which gives her a good understanding of plant requirements and general gardening knowledge.

Tony Fitzgerald
Mowing Manager

Tony has a background in farming so his broad knowledge of Horticulture and machinery has transferred to his role as Mowing Manager at Mid-LAND Contracting Ltd.

Tony works closely with our commercial and private clients to ensure client satisfaction at all times.

Linda van der Colk
Contracts Manager Temuka
Linda brings to Mid-LAND Contracting Ltd 20+ years of experience in the Horticultural field, with Horticulture Level 3, currently studying for Level 4 and is a qualified plant propagator. Linda oversees all aspects of the Timaru District Council Contracts for Temuka and Pleasant Point Parks and Reserves, Cemeteries, Domains, Social Housing, Playgrounds, planting projects and other miscellaneous jobs as required.

Linda has an eye for detail and is meticulous in her work ethics and performance.
