Midland Contracting was established in 1996 and owned and operated by Allan & Barbara Jones and Mark & Jenny Timblick. This dedicated team started off initially mowing various school grounds within South Canterbury, whilst holding down full time positions in their existing employment. During the next 7 years Midland Contracting won a variety of contracts with the Timaru District Council maintaining various Parks & Reserves & grounds maintenance. By 2003 Midlands employed 12 staff. In 2003 Mark & Jenny sold their share to Allan & Barbara to pursue other interests. From 2003 to the present, Midlands has continued to grow and currently employ 42 staff who maintain Parks & Reserves, Schools, sports fields, Businesses, private homes and also undertake Landscape Design & Construction. |
